How I Got Started in My Field and What Led Me to Where I Am Today
My journey to becoming a trauma therapist and motivational speaker has been anything but linear. It was carved through lived experience, shaped by profound grief, and refined by the quiet, persistent resilience that grew out of necessity. I didn’t choose this path as much as I believe it revealed itself to me through heartbreak, healing, and a calling I could no longer ignore.

Christine holds various certifications, including being a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) specifically catering to children aged 3–17.
Her remarkable achievements don’t end there; she was honored by the International Society of Female Professionals (ISFP) in November 2019. In January 2020, Christine embarked on her life’s purpose by establishing Beacon of Hope Counseling Services, LLC (BHCS, LLC) as a private practice. A Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) is a mental health credential awarded to clinicians who have advanced training in understanding, assessing, and treating trauma. Professionals with this certification are equipped to support individuals affected by traumatic experiences using evidence-informed, trauma-sensitive approaches that promote healing, resilience, and long-term recovery.
